Welding supervisor/ quality assurance

C.W Steel Services is seeking a Welding Supervisor / QA to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

This role requires someone who has experience in a similar environment, where they are leading continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining OH&S standards and driving quality standards in conjunction with a daily production schedule.

Core responsibilities of this role will include:

*Provide quality control and welding supervision for both site and workshop works;
*Promote and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures;
*Ensure best trade practises are performed in accordance with the relevant welding standards and specifications;
*Ensure all QA/QC inspections and testing is performed in accordance with the relevant Quality Plan;
*Maintaining Company Standards for Quality Assurance purposes;
*Manage the welding and QA systems.

Some of the core requirements we seek in the successful applicant include:

*Appropriate Trade Certificate/s;
*Experience in a similar role;
*Ability to read technical drawings;
*Thorough understanding of International Welding Standards;
*Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence people in a positive manner.

The successful candidate must have a can-do attitude, excellent organisational and time management skills, good interpersonal skills, the ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines, and a willingness to work within a busy and challenging team environment.
