About the Role
Together with one of our clients, we are working on building a data warehouse on AWS and maintaining data models and schema designs that support business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Applies standard data modeling and design techniques based upon a detailed understanding of requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain data models and schema designs that support our business needs.
Work with product teams to ensure that data pipelines meet their needs.
Monitor the performance of data pipelines and resolve issues as they arise.
Ensure that data is accurate, reliable, and available.
Develop and maintain documentation for data infrastructure and pipelines.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
Strong AWS cloud service. Familiar with AWS Glue and AWS Redshift or AWS Aurora. Experience in building a data warehouse on AWS is a must. Experience with Snowflake is an advantage.
Deep understanding of SQL, including SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
Strong experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data integration
Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Apache Spark or other big data and data engineering frameworks
Databricks or other managed data analytics platforms
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure
Data modeling, data ingestion, data orchestration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills in English
