Senior accountant for a U.S.-based trucking company

A U.S.-based trucking company is looking for an experienced and organized professional for the position of Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will manage key financial processes and lead a team. This role is best suited for someone with a deep understanding of the U.S. transportation industry.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain the company's financial records.
- Manage invoicing processes (issuing and tracking invoices).
- Organize and execute payroll (salary calculations and payments).
- Monitor and analyze financial transactions, preparing reports for management.
- Optimize financial workflows and implement best practices.
- Lead the accounting team: task delegation, training, and performance control.

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience as an accountant in a U.S. trucking company.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing and payroll processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Knowledge of accounting practices.
- Intermediate-level English or higher.
