What you’ll do:
Set up, configure, manage, and monitoring Kubernetes systems in a cloud-based environment and bare metal
Work with self-managed Kubernetes cluster
Design, build and maintain the infrastructure used by all Salt Edge engineering teams
Deploy containers using Helm charts
Automate of delivery processes
Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack
Assist with creating or updating the enterprise standards when gaps are identified
Plan for the growth of Salt Edge infrastructure
What you need:
Experience with Kubernetes on bare metal, container orchestration and cloud-based Kubernetes
Work experience with Linux servers in production
Experience with a provisioning tool (Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc)
Experience with CI/CD tools
Ability to automate work using a scripting/programming language
Experience with logging, analytics and monitoring tools
Advanced debugging skills
Be proactive and result oriented team player
Bonus skills:
Awareness of industry trends (new technologies, solutions, approaches, etc.) and their applicability
