Cad designer (mechanical, architectural, piping)

General description
The CAD designer translates specific project requirements into 2D/3D CAD drawings. As a member of a project team the CAD designer delivers 2D/3D CAD drawings to the project engineers in a resource effective way.

List of main duties and responsibilities
Design and draft detailes specifications of any system part of the project
- Observe, measure, receive and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources like project engineers and/or clients
- Prepare preliminary design sketches from rough sketches, survey data, written and/or oral instructions
- Resolve problems in a 3D CAD environment
- Prepare final design (layout, assembly, construction drawings,) and other specifications
- Prepare and participate in design reviews

Make and illustrate technical decisions within the scope of the project engineer instructions
- Consider relative safetym product quality, cost and other benefits
- Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules of conclusion
- Selection of standard materials and components

Project documentation
- Support the in-house documentation and file management system

Reporting to
Operational: Project engineer/project manager
Hierarchically: Company responsible/manager

- Computer skills fundamental(AutoDesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office)

* AutoDesk Revit (Architectural/structural)
* AutoDesk Plant 3D(piping)
* AutoDesk Inventor
* Other CAD or 3D packages
English speaking and writing
Sound technical knowledge
Communication skills

Education:
Preferable a degree as engineer (architectural / mechanical/ piping)
